History and campaign notes

Tarkus is a mutant. The world he comes from has a higher than normal mutation rate due to the magic there. His great height and exceptional intelligence are caused by this, as well as his psychic ability and the small antennae on his head that detect mana and magic. These antennae can be partially hidden in his hair. Tarkus is currently employed by The Temple of High Chaos. He is helping Sirgar against those behind the wall. The 'qi' in front of his name is an honorific given by the Temple of High Chaos. It denotes 'Respected One'. Tarkus received this for several years of loyal service to the temple. Note: I don't remember where the GM got the rules for mutations and psionics. It was a very small press semi-pro science fiction RPG from the 1970s like they practically all were.
